At Create Architecture we seek to form genuine relationships and connections with both our client and site.

Our Architecture is always site specific and driven by passive design principles in order to inform an environmentally appropriate response. Our philosophy and process is largely driven by a combination of five fundamental values – Relationships, Connections, Opportunities, Lifestyle and Space.

Residential Architecture Yamba | Modern & Sustainable Home Design

At Create Architecture, we are Yamba’s local specialists in modern residential architecture. We design homes for the specific coastal lifestyle, sub-tropical climate, and beautiful landscapes of the Yamba area and Clarence Valley. Our eco-conscious, site-specific designs for Yamba properties focus on capturing north-easterly sea breezes, maximising natural light, and creating seamless transitions to outdoor living areas.

Whether you’re planning a new sustainable home, a coastal renovation, or an off-grid eco retreat, we deliver award-winning residential designs that reflect your vision. Our homes are tailored to meet the highest environmental and energy efficiency standards for the local environment.

As your local Yamba architects, we bring deep knowledge of Clarence Valley Council DA approvalsbushfire zoning (BAL)flood mitigation, and climate-responsive design. Every home is a custom design, thoughtfully crafted to reflect the character of its site, reduce environmental impact, and enhance modern living.

Multi Residential Architecture – Yamba & Northern Rivers

At Create Architecture, we believe multi-residential design should do more than accommodate — it should inspire. Serving communities across the Northern Rivers, with a focus on Yamba and the Clarence Valley, our projects reflect the unique character, coastal climate, and vibrant lifestyles of the region.

Whether nestled in the hinterland, blending into the lush riverbanks, or positioned to capture stunning coastal views, our designs respond to their environment. We prioritise light, natural ventilation, and climate-sensitive materials to deliver comfort and sustainability.

Create Architecture is committed to delivering thoughtful, well-resolved multi-residential solutions tailored to your vision. Let’s collaborate to deliver architecture that elevates lifestyle, endures the environment, and enriches the community.

Interior Design Architecture – Yamba & Northern Rivers

At Create Architecture, we offer holistic interior design architecture that connects seamlessly with our architectural vision—transforming residential and commercial spaces across Yamba and the Northern Rivers into highly functional, visually striking, and sustainable environments.

We create interiors that reflect identity, enhance usability, and elevate everyday experience. Our approach integrates spatial planning, custom joinery, lighting design, material selection, and furniture curation to deliver cohesive interiors tailored to both purpose and place.

Whether you’re developing a high-end coastal home, luxury holiday accommodation, or modern commercial space, our interiors are guided by principles of biophilic design, natural light optimisation, and eco-friendly material sourcing.

We collaborate closely with clients in the Yamba region, ensuring your interior tells a story—crafted with intention, creativity, and sustainability at its core.

Our Create Architecture Client Feedback

Scott and his team have been amazing to work with! Scott personally took out initial ideas and brief and nutted out a design in front of us which was exactly what we were after. The holistic service we received has resulted in what we believe will be the house of our dreams. We've also had the pleasure of working closely with his staff member Nic who has an amazing eye for detail and who regularly sends us progress shots as he visits the site after work which we delight in seeing as we're not able to get to site very often. Scott and his team are very transparent when it comes to costings and will work to find a solution if you need to scale things back. A very friendly, passionate and talented team that know the area inside and out!

My family and I are building a house in Casuarina, like most people we had quite specific requirements to fit our families lifestyles and wishes. After numerous drafts through other companies and 12 months later we still did not have a plan that we were happy building. After months of uncertainty we were then recommenced to Scott Carpenter Architect. Our first meeting with Scott was an absolute breath of fresh air. In as little as an hour, we had a first draft sketched up on the spot. All communication after this point was equally as refreshing and professional. We are now building our beautiful home designed by Scott Carpenter. My only regret was that we did not see Scott Carpenter from the start.

Our Hamptons House
Scott Carpenter Architects were a joy to collaborate with (and I emphasise the word 'collaborate'). Scott and his highly skilled colleagues really listened, and heard, all that we talked about throughout the entire consultation process and beyond. They then contributed their own professional expertise and creativity and a most harmonious project ensued. The superbly completed house is a full realisation of our vision. Thank you and cheers, Alan Wilson and Trevor McCosker, Casuarina
Alan Wison
Scott and his team designed my family home. My wife and I went to Scott with the bare bones of what we wanted in our house, after a 1 hour meeting Scott, where he asked us a lot of questions, he had drawn the concept and we have been in love with it since, we have not changed anything from what Scott proposed. During the design process Scott and his team were helpful and responsive, getting our DA through in no time. I am a very fussy client and the attention to detail and level of professionalism shown by Scott and his team was exceptional, I would have no hesitation in recommending SCA to anyone who wants an outstanding home.
